Outer Banks Bike Tour
May 16-18, 2024
Enjoy a coastal experience along the famed Hwy 12 Scenic Byway, a 300+ mile road out and back route, plus 62 miles on two ferries, connecting the barrier islands and coastal towns of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Blue Ridge Parkway Bike Tour
July 13-20, 2024
The Blue Ridge Parkway is America’s most narrow national park, a continuous 469-mile road connecting the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park in North Carolina/Tennesse. If you’re up for a challenge, you can add a 10-mile spur off the Parkway to summit eastern North America’s highest peak, Mt. Mitchell.

Enjoy the rolling backroads of Wake and Harnett County on our way to Campbell University.
Hanging Rock State Park
April 13
Join us for a tour of the park and the surrounding area. We’ll venture over to the popular Sauratown Rd. for a fun climb too.
Lake Norman State Park/ Mooresville/ Davidson
April 20
We’ll start at Lake Norman and explore the small towns of Troutman, Mooresville, Davidson, and Cornelius.
Angier/ Erwin/ Lillington
May 4
Although we’ll traverse the banks of the Cape Fear River, there will be plenty of hills to climb. We’ll ride through 3 quintessential NC towns on this ramble through the countryside.
Valle Crucis/ Old Beech Mountain/ Banner Elk
May 11
We’ll start at the historic Mast General Store and circumnavigate Beech Mountain. We’ll stop in the resort town of Banner Elk before descending back into Valle Crucis on NC Hwy 194, affectionately known as the “roller coaster”.

June 1
Get the miles in with this ride as we ride across Wake, Harnett, Lee, and Chatham counties.
Mt. Mitchell State Park/ Blue Ridge Parkway
June 8th
Climb eastern America’s highest peak! We’ll start in Marion, NC and climb NC Hwy 80 to the Blue Ridge Parkway and then on to the summit. The descent will be epic!
Boone/ Elk Knob State Park
June 15
“Live It Up” with a bike tour of the high country back roads. We’ll briefly go into Tennessee before riding through Elk Knob State Park on our way back to Boone.
Sanford
July 6
We’ll explore more of the Cape Fear River valley with a stop in Sanford for a bite to eat.
Chapel Hill/ Carrboro
August 3
They don’t call it Chapel Hill for nothing. Although it will be a gently rolling ride, most of the climbing will be up to Chapel Hill and back down.
Lake James State Park/ Marion
August 10
We’ll circumnavigate Lake James enjoying rolling terrain and views of Linville Gorge. We’ll stop in the town of Marion for lunch before heading back to Lake James State Park.
Pittsboro
September 7
We’ll enjoy a rolling ride around Harris Lake and Jordan Lake as we navigate towards Pittsboro for a bite to eat before returning.
Blowing Rock/ Blue Ridge Parkway
October 12
We’ll start in downtown Blowing Rock and make our way to the famed Linn Cove Viaduct and then back. The leaves should be at their peak for this awesome ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Asheville/ Marshall/ Blue Ridge Parkway
October 18-19
You don’t want to miss this 2-day adventure! On day 1, we’ll enjoy a slow climb from Biltmore Village south to the Blue Ridge Parkway and back. On day 2, we’ll enjoy a ride north along the French Broad River to Marshall and back.
Mountain/Gravel Bike
Umstead State Park
November 2
We’ll enjoy the gravel roads and trails within the park. Each loop is about 14 miles. We can do multiple laps or mix up the route to make it more interesting.
Old US Hwy 70/ Kitsuma Trail
November 9
The first half of the ride is a gentle climb up the mountain on Old US Hwy 70, a closed road turned into a greenway. Each loop is about 10 miles. Once at the top, you can cruise back down the road, or take the single-track mountain bike trail through the valley! Repeats can also be done up and down the paved portion for an intense training experience.
Linville Gorge

This gravel/mountain bike adventure is amazing! We’ll follow “Old Hwy 105” from Linville Falls to Lake James and back.
