Practices rotate on the following schedule: 1. Basic Skills #1, 2. Basic Skills #2, 3. Basic Skills #3, 4. Advanced Skills, 5. Time Trial. This practice will focus on basic open water swim skills #3. Topics include beach starts, entry/exit, Settling into swim experiencing fatigue, floating starts, crowding swimming & bumping, and variable pacing.
We’ll start in Marion, NC and climb NC Hwy 80 to the Blue Ridge Parkway and then on to the summit. The descent will be epic!

“Live It Up” with a bike tour of the high country back roads. We’ll briefly go into Tennessee before riding through Elk Knob State Park on our way back to Boone.
