Group Ride – Chapel Hill

Practices rotate on the following schedule: 1. Basic Skills #1, 2. Basic Skills #2, 3. Basic Skills #3, 4. Advanced Skills, 5. Time Trial. This practice will focus on advanced open water swim skills. Topics include dolphin dives, settling into swim experiencing fatigue, drafting/positioning, pace lining, buoy turns, and 2-beat kick.

We’ll circumnavigate Lake James enjoying rolling terrain and views of Linville Gorge. We’ll stop in the town of Marion for lunch before heading back to Lake James State Park.
