Carolina Multisports Outdoor Group Rides

Outdoor Group Rides

Coach-led Rides

Step out of your comfort zone and into the extraordinary-the world awaits.

Weekend Rides

We gather for group rides across the Triangle, savoring breathtaking scenery while fostering a sense of community. The rides commence in Fuquay Varina and traverse various regions. Our destinations range from Chapel Hill to Clayton. We adhere to the principle of maintaining the pace of the slowest rider. The rides will span from 2 to 4 hours, and everyone is welcome, regardless of their physical abilities.

Training Rides

I also offer training rides that provide more dynamic locations and terrains. These are dedicated rides for clients who need to train on race-specific terrains or those preparing for the Carolina Hills Classic or California Coast Classic multi-day bike tours. Our group may separate some due to varying abilities, but we still ride as a group and never leave anyone behind.

Multi-day Self-Supported Group Rides

On other weeks, we'll embark on exciting adventures that take us across the state, exploring breathtaking routes such as the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, known for its stunning mountain views and winding roads, and the picturesque Outer Banks, where the ocean meets the sky in a beautiful display. These journeys will be multi-day rides, offering us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the diverse landscapes and rich history of North Carolina, while also enjoying the camaraderie and shared experiences that come with traveling together as a group.

Please sign a waiver prior to your first ride. You only have to do it once. It's good for any event for the rest of the year.

Then, we’ll enjoy the descent through Banner Elk and the locals’ favorite “roller coaster” descent back to Valle Crucis. The 38 mile loop has major elevation gain with over 5,000' of gain and several regrouping stops. Bring layers, fuel, and hydration. I feel my confidence growing

I have learned so much in such a short time from Coach Joel in both biking and open water swimming. I am new to both endeavors and I feel my confidence growing each time I work with him. I appreciate his patience and his passion for teaching folks like me in addition to more experienced athletes. His focus on functional performance really makes sense to me. Highly recommend.
